Benevolentia was founded in 2024 by an Australian who came to India with his family.

In a short time, news reports of the mistreatment of workers - predominantly female - in the garment industry caught his attention, and he was deeply troubled.

It didn't seem right that so many women were abused, just so he could save a couple of dollars on a tee shirt or jumper. 

So, after months of research, Benevolentia was founded to give highly those skilled workers a better, fairer way to provide for their families - by making exceptional clothes at reasonable prices.
